Membership Services

Your premium membership service begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. You’ll be charged the rate stated at the time of purchase until the end of your billing period. You can register or cancel at any time. Due to the nature of the service, your payment is non-refundable, and your service will continue until the end of that billing period. Membership billing periods are processed either monthly, quarterly or annually, depending on which service you chose at the checkout.

Free membership incurs no charges at all, and you can cancel or renew at any time. We recommend that you try our free membership to test the service for free before you purchase the premium membership.

You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your membership level at any time. However, your premium membership will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Membership Rates

Membership rates are subject to change on all services on an annual basis, but we’ll always notify you beforehand. If the rates are changed, your current billing rate will not change until your next billing period.

VAT and Taxes

Taxes may be added at the checkout if you live in a region that requires them.

Terms and Conditions for the supply of products

Claire-Chilton.com must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Payment is not taken until the point of despatch of the goods to you from our distribution centre. Once payment has been received we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide during your order.

We are entitled to withdraw from any orders in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by email. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.

Returning Physical Goods

You may withdraw your order for goods at any time up to the end of the twenty-first working day after you have placed your order. You do not need to give any reason for withdrawing your order nor will you have to pay any penalty. You will received a full refund for your order within 14 days of our receipt of the returned product.

The only circumstance in which you cannot withdraw your order is if you have removed the sealed packaging from the product. Do not remove the inner packaging if you wish to return the goods you have ordered.

To withdraw your order you must notify us by email at sales@claire-chilton.com and return the item for and the amount will be refunded to you.

If you have received the goods before you withdraw your order then, unless you have lost your right to withdraw because you have taken the goods out of their sealed package, you must send them back to the return address at your own cost and risk.

Once you have notified Claire-Chilton.com that you are withdrawing your order, any sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of receipt of your returned goods.

Returning Electronic Goods

Goods that are electronically transferred (eg: Ebooks) can be exchanged for a full refund for upto 24 hours after delivery. After that time, they can only be exchanged if faulty, and no refund will be available.

Free products may not be returned for a refund or an exchange.

Delivery of Goods to You

Claire-Chilton.com will post, or arrange a courier on your behalf, for the goods ordered by you to the person and address you give us at the time you make your order.

Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of despatch of the order. All delivery times quoted on the website are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery companies. Also please bear in mind that deliveries outside the UK may take longer to arrive.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when the goods are despatched to you from our distribution centre.

Customs Charges

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the EU, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that Claire-Chilton.com has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order.

Liability

This is as follows:

If the goods Claire-Chilton.com delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Claire-Chilton.com shall have no liability to you unless you notify us of the problem, in writing to sales@claire-chilton.com within 10 working days of the delivery of goods in question.

If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which they were despatched to you, Claire-Chilton.com shall have no liability to you unless you notify Claire-Chilton.com in writing to sales@claire-chilton.com of the problem within 40 days of the date on which the goods were despatched to you.

If you notify a problem to Claire-Chilton.com under this condition, Claire-Chilton.com’s only obligation will be, at its option, to make good any shortage or non-delivery; to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question to the original method of payment.

Claire-Chilton.com will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to Claire-Chilton.com under this condition and Claire-Chilton.com shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.

Nothing in this condition is, however, intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit Claire-Chilton.com liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.

Nothing in this contract creates any right which is enforceable by any person who is not a party to the contract.
